Trade delegation visited the Chamber branch in Jubail Recently in an effort to enhance cooperation with the business sector and provide the technical and industrial cooperation between Germany and Saudi Arabia. The East Chamber Vice Chairman Hassan misfer Al Zahrani during the visit has met Chairman of the Economic Affairs Committee of the German Parliament, Dr. Peter ramsoer, charge d'affaires of the German Embassy in Saudi Arabia, Michael aunmakht and the delegate of German industry and commerce in Saudi Arabia Mr. Andreas herginrother.
AlZahrani said during the meeting that the Chamber welcome the diversify communication channels with German business and German economic institutions, pointing out that Dubai hosts many world class industrial parks, and that this communication will give new impetus to the already strong economic ties between Saudi Arabia and Germany. Noting the presence of German companies in the market, there are more than 100 German companies more than their investments of more than $ 8 billion, urging to strengthen it. Al-Zahrani called German companies to take advantage of the incentives offered by the Saudi economic policies for foreign investors. Ramsoer said his country is keen to develop economic relations with the Kingdom, noting that trade between the two countries reached 42.7 billion, as the value of imports from Germany approximately 41.3 billion while exports to Germany amounted to 1.4 billion riyals only. Expressing his admiration for the tremendous development of the tastiest in Jubail, his keenness to make German products and services of high quality, comparable with any other products. Andreas Herginrother said that Germany is one of the main suppliers of technology to the Kingdom and particularly to the eastern region.
